It's Nationals Time!

This week saw the British Advanced and Unlimited Aerobatics Championships held at Sywell Aerodrome in Northamptonshire. After several days of competition the medal winners were announced and this saw Mike and I coming first and second, with only a whisker between us. We didn't know the outcome until the final pilot had flow and all the scores had been through the computer's statistical software.

It had been a difficult competition as we had had technical problems with the aircraft (Mike had to land during a contest flight due to a fuel leak in the cockpit) and I had felt unwell on one of the days so had to defer. Thanks to all those who helped us get things fixed so that we could compete and for the flexibility when I was unwell.

Congratulations to all those involved, especially all the medal winners ,and thanks to all involved, especially the organisers and Sywell aerodrome, our hosts.
